Shane Lashley, MBA, M.Mgt. is an innovation monetization expert who leads a global consulting practice focused on helping clients increase the value of their innovations, and then extract it through high value transactions.
Shane has led numerous engagements regarding the strategic evaluation, use and transaction of intellectual property, including multi-million dollar online businesses. His work focuses on selecting investment-worthy approaches that can withstand significant scrutiny and challenge, but most of all, increase value and profitability for the innovation owner.
Shane taught for five years as an adjunct professor at the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management. In 2001, Shane co-founded IP Launch, Inc., an intellectual property valuation and advisory firm in Dallas, Texas. He holds two Masters Degrees, one in Telecommunications Management and another in Corporate Finance.
Today, Shane divides his time between instructing and practicing what he instructs, all of it dealing in some way with innovation, international business and intellectual property.
Shane collaborated with IP Launch co-founder Michelle Monroe to create this personal blog, which reflects their shared mission to support innovators and entrepreneurs around the world and contribute to their success regardless of size or stage.
His most recent creation, other than this awesome blog, is the co-development of YourProductMade.com.
Michelle Monroe, CPA is a business and technology valuation expert who routinely tackles the most sophisticated of intellectual property financial matters on behalf of her clients at IP Launch, Inc., a firm she co-founded in 2001. Entrepreneurs, innovators, attorneys, investors, and CEOs, including those leading multi-million dollar online businesses, have relied upon Michelle’s valuation and financial guidance for corporate M&A, IRS issues, litigation, and private investments.
Michelle has a wealth of knowledge and experience about what companies can do to make themselves more valuable, as well as seemingly innocuous mistakes that can potentially kill value. She is devoted to sharing this experience with people as they conceive, launch, and grow their businesses so that they can avoid deadly pitfalls while taking advantage of the opportunities that lead to higher value transactions.
In addition, Michelle is well-traveled and has extensive experience in international business. Known for her superior communication skills and passion for helping others, Michelle helped conceive and create this blog with Shane.
